The number of people with severe drug or alcohol withdrawal symptoms in emergency department of Delhi hospitals has doubled during the lockdown, according to doctors -- and, they are coming in with severe symptoms.
There has been at least a 50% increase in the number of patients coming in with severe withdrawal symptoms to the hospital emergency.
In order to help the people suffering from drug abuse the trinity legal aid society collaborated with Delhi state Legal services authority to conduct a webinar over internet amid lockdown on "Legal Aid and handling Drug abuse" for all the law students and faculties and staff of Tips Dwarka.
